To enable potential evolution to a traditional call center, EasyContact packaged for a maximum of 25 agents is based on CCDistribution technology, but it does not include statistics or supervisor display capabilities.
In the majority of organizations, there are groups of business people who receive calls, interact directly with customers, and have other responsibilities outside of answering the customer requests. The Multi-Extension Agent (MEA) feature in EasyContact allows users to directly benefit from mixing distribution logic with classic business call handling (refer to the MEA section for further details).

EasyContact is an advanced distribution mechanism for incoming calls. The pilot is the entry point and is typically a service offered by a company to its customers, i.e., hotline, sales, reservation number, etc. A call is directed to a pilot based on information such as the ANI (Automatic Number Identification - Caller ID) or called number. If individuals assigned to the service are available, the call is distributed to a selected person with no delay. If all resources are busy, the call is placed in a queue.
The introductory contact center offer is the Greeting-Assistant, which offers the possibility to use any of the Alcatel-Lucent IP Touch 4038 Phone, 4068 Phone, or the 4039 Digital Phone as an attendant phone.
The combination of the phone set and the embedded EasyContact package creates a Greeting-Assistant desk for smaller services, with up to 5 agents.
The phones context-sensitive and programmable keys can be configured to customize the sets specifically for attendant purposes.
